Dear God,please look after my family and friends and when i'm sad you make me happy please make me humble and I will not swear please make sure my family is safe all the even when they are asleep and when anywhere please can you be with them all the time and please help others and help the sick, poor and hurtful people and help everyone to be kind to one another even in games and sports and when they are playing on the playground or in there house and please don't make me do anything hurtful when I am angry or frustrated at anyone please make me care for others  even people who are younger them me I love you God and my family so so much please take care of my mum, dad, brother, sister, my aunt's, uncle's and my cousin's AMEN.

I am Ben.I am 8 years old.April 2010 is my birthday.My beautiful mum Maria and my handsome dad Asipeli are my parents.My pretty, annoying, caring and loud sister is Meleana. I have no brothers yet.I have 7 pretty aunties.I have 7 handsome and strong uncles. My wonderful grandparents are Malologa, Austini, Fifita and Lavania. My favorite books are Goosebumps,                            Captain underpants, Avengers,Pokemon and spider-man.

The sports I like are Soccer, Rugby and Basketball.I like these songs 7 years old, Senorita, Radioactive, thunder, Believer, Faded, The Spectre, Darkside and .My  favorite subjects to learn are Math, R.E and spelling.My favorite T.V programmes are Bunk'd, The Thunder-mans, Gravity falls and Ultimate spider-man.My favorite food are noodles ,fruit salad, sour patches, spaghetti and chocolate.My best friends are Ofa, Augustine, Paul, Peter, Matthew, Amiel, Eli, Tyrah, Giselle, Yesha, Ellma, Asinate and April.

A VISIT TO STONE COTTAGE-BY BEN

Learning Intention:We are learning to write a recount. 
Success Criteria:I know I am successful when I can write a recount about our visit to the Stone Cottage. 

       A VISIT TO THE STONE COTTAGE
Have you ever used an old type writer from the 1800's?
The old typewriter was used by John Philip in the fencible era and the typewriter was very expensive for other people.

We went to visit the Stone Cottage.There was a man working there his name was Chris.First I looked in the lounge of the Stone Cottage there was a reindeer cup and a candle.We looked in the bedroom and I saw 2 scary dolls.

 I saw a shiny, rare mirror and I saw my reflection, it was a little blurry. In the kitchen I saw a wooden bellow. The wooden bellow is rusty, it had a face on it and when I blew it some dust came off

Upstairs I saw stones called the volcanic rock and the other was called the volcanic bomb. They looked massive, shiny, grey, extraordinary rocks.

I wish I could go to the Stone Cottage another time with my classmates.

Hi! MY name is Benjamin. My birthday is on April. I was born in New Zealand but I grew up in Australia then I came back to New Zealand. I like chocolate,  movies,  money, food, lollies, Goose bump books, and drinks.I dislike many vegetables. I have 1 brother, 1 sister and 2 grandparents.

My favorite subjects at school are Math, R.E, P.E, Story writing and Topic. My favorite songs are God's plan and Christmas songs.  I like to play rugby and soccer. I like lots of t.v shows .

I have lots of friends at school.

Learning Intention:We are learning to write a narrative story.
Success Criteria:I know I am successful when I can write a narrative story using correct spelling, capital letters and full stops correctly and in paragraph form. 
                             ALL ABOUT ME
Brian was a Lion. He has three older brothers, two older sisters and two younger brothers and he also has two lovely, kind and generous parents.   

One day Brian and his family went on a hunt when they saw ten hungry hyenas. They fought the hyenas, one of them scratched Brian while the other hyenas got chased away by Brian's older siblings and Brian's dad. His family took him back to the Savanna in Africa where they live and they took good care of him.

After four weeks Brian started to get better.

Later Brian and his family went for a walk in the savanna and they saw the hyenas again. Then the hyenas ran away. So Brian and his family all went back home and ate dinner all together.
